Khalifa University announced that its undergraduate degree programs in Aerospace Biomedical Communication Electrical and Electronic Mechanical and Computer Engineering have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied science computing engineering and engineering technology.
ABET accreditation assures that programs meet standards to produce graduates ready to enter critical technical fields that are leading the way in innovation and emerging technologies and anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public.
“This is exciting news for Khalifa University ” says Khalifa University President Dr. Tod Laursen. “Receiving accreditation means that your programs are held to an international standard and are internationally recognized which in turn means that our students have stronger job prospects and greater prospects for continued education.
