A Khalifa University student team consisting of Lamya Hasan Abdulla Alhammadi; Meera Alyammahi and Dana Abdulla Khamis Al Muhairi who are all in the Civil Engineering Program were delighted to win the Scavenger Hunt conducted as part of the Young Engineers Forum held during the Third Arabian Tunneling Conference which was hosted in Dubai under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and under the sponsorship of the UAE Society of Engineers.
The hunt required teams of students to obtain materials from exhibition stands interview exhibitors and answer questions related to tunneling and issues surrounding it. Khalifa University’s team beat seven other UAE universities to bring home the trophy.
