Established as Khalifa University’s Robotics Institute in 2012 and renamed KUCARS in 2018, the centre brings together faculty, research scientists, engineers and postgraduate researchers. Our laboratories connect software development with the design, integration and testing of physical robotic systems.

We work with industry, government and academic collaborators to define practical challenges, develop robotic capabilities and evaluate systems in laboratories and partner environments. Education, technical exchange and hands-on experimentation are central to this work.
