Services for Small Molecule Structure Analysis:
Crystallization
- Consultation in the best approaches to generating good diffracting crystals suitable for data collection
Data collection and Structure Determination
- A polarizing stereo microscope is used to inspect the crystal quality
- Low-T data collection (100 K) with redundant data using either Molybdenum (Mo) or Copper (Cu) radiation
- Unit-cell determination
- Full data collection
- Make a jpeg film of the crystal sample (used for crystal face indexing).
- Full data collection, structure determination, and a finished structure report
- In addition, Polymorphism (polymorph screening), solid-solid phase transitions, and solvates/co-crystals are also of interest.
Publication Support
- Data validation
- Preparation of figures and tables
- Need a movie of your structure for your next presentation? We can do that!
- Final report with edited cif file, experimental report, ORTEP plot(s), and data files
