Event to Offer Potential Students and Families Insight into Curriculum and Scholarship Incentives

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 09 December, 2011 – Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, an independent, research-driven graduate-level university focused on advanced energy and sustainable technologies, is inviting potential students and their families to gain an insight into its curriculum and scholarship options during its annual ‘Open Day’ on 10 December.

The ‘Open Day’ at the sustainable Masdar Institute campus in Masdar City will also provide visitors with an opportunity to interact with currently enrolled students and learn about the various academic and outreach programs.

The faculty and students from all the eight post-graduate programs will have independent stands to offer detailed information through presentations and individual interaction. Workshops on specific topics related to sustainability and clean technology will also be organized by the faculty at the futuristic Knowledge Center.

An Enrollment team will register names and contact details of eligible students and attend to all enquiries about the admission procedures.
An exclusive stand on student affairs will offer an overview of the various student clubs, campus life, and other amenities. The special career guidance that Masdar Institute provides to students on completion of the course will be one of the highlights of the day.

Current students will share their on-campus academic experience with the visitors in addition to offering information on the Outreach programs. Additionally, student ambassadors will lead guided tours of the campus and offer personal insight into what it is like to study at the university.
