Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, the Middle East’s first graduate research institution dedicated to alternative energy and sustainable technologies today congratulated the European Future Energy Forum (EFEF) which met from 19th – 21st October in London on another exceptionally successful event.
Assistant Provost for Regional Affairs, Dr. Lamya N. Fawwaz, who presented on the opportunities at Masdar Institute during the forum, explained the significance of the EFEF:
“Since its inception, Masdar Institute has pursued the highest quality of faculty and students, gathering some of the brightest minds in the UAE and the world. Climate change is a global problem that requires a global solution. By participating in events like EFEF, Masdar Institute and Abu Dhabi are taking an active part in promoting the development of clean and sustainable energy technology, which is at the heart of the climate change challenge.”
“EFEF gave us the opportunity to share information about our programs and research with global leaders and the European market place.”
The EFEF is an initiative developed with Masdar and is a part of the Future Energy series of events that includes the World Future Energy Summit held annually in Abu Dhabi.
