All students can opt to seek their own international opportunity, if the Career Services does not offer the placements under the following conditions:
- Students who decide to seek their own opportunity need to notify CASO and receive permission before contacting the organizations. The Career Services only approves students to approach particular companies should they not be on the university list
- Students are not allowed to communicate directly with KU international partners who offer internship every summer
