Internships should be taken during your junior year’s summer, but exceptions can be made under special circumstances. If you are planning to postpone your internship, please submit the Exception to Policy form, which should be approved by your advisor, Academic Coordinator, and the Associate Dean. To submit the deferment form, please follow the steps below:
Go to the KU Portal → E-Services → Student E-Services Management → Exception to Policy Request → Defer Internship.
