The research agenda is composed of the following integrated at researching new methods and tools to integrate and improve-performance of complex and extended supply chains using predictive analytics and self-optimizing logistics.  


Supply Chain Analytics

This aims at researching new methods and tools to integrate and improve-performance of complex and extended supply chains using predictive analytics and self-optimizing logistics. 


Digital Operations Management

aims at enabling the transition into paperless, borderless and highly trusted transaction-based operations, with highly decentralized traceability, governance and access. This will be focused on ports operations and management of container flow and compliance assurance to shipping conditions and international standards; in addition to Etihad Cargo shipping strategies and advance planning. 


Future of work in the Digital Economy

The overarching goal of the project is to study the societal and economic impacts of the innovations developed by the center in terms of job creation, evolution in the skills requirements of these jobs and alignment with the social and educational policies of the UAE. To ensure maximum impact for the research, a data driven methodology will be taken so that the work will be generalization to other sectors and economies for which compatible data is available.
