Vibration and Shock Testing Facilities
This essentially mimics the violent vibrations that a satellite would experience during launch. It is critical to perform vibration tests to ensure that CubeSats are ready for launch.
Some of the noteworthy equipment under this facility are:
Bruel & Kjaer V780 Shaker with 2- channel high frequency DAQ system
- Peak sine force 5.12 kN
- RMS random force 4.33 kN
- Peak shock force 9.5 kN
- Maximum displacement (peak–peak): 25.4 mm
