Prof. Saeed Alhassan

Prof. Saeed Alhassan

Senior Director

Saeed M. Alhassan is a Professor of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at Khalifa University. His research covers water and humidity harvesting, sulfur based materials, polymers, colloids, graphene, and surface science, resulting in extensive publications, patents, and conference contributions. He has held major leadership roles—including Director of the Gas Research Center and Senior Director of the Petroleum Institute—managing large research programs and collaborating with industry and government partners. He is active in professional societies and serves on research councils and editorial boards. His work has earned national scientific and research excellence awards with academic training from Vanderbilt University, the Colorado School of Mines, and Case Western Reserve University.
