Mr. Saeed Ahmed Al Mahri is currently the Director & Acting Vice President of Procurement & Contracts within the Support Services Directorate at Khalifa University (KU) in Abu Dhabi.
He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University, Washington State, USA.
Additionally, Mr. Saeed holds an MSc in Project Management from the British University in Dubai (BUiD). His concentration was on Supply Chain & Procurement Strategies in Projects to align and support the Business Corporate Strategies through projects.
For his Master’s Dissertation in Strategic Supply Chain & Procurement, he developed a model that promotes Strategic Supply Chain at the Center of Business Strategies of Organisations in the UAE. The model ensures the best services and materials to be procured at the most optimal, cost-effective & with the aim of supporting the UAE economy.
As Acting VP of Procurement & Contracts at KU, Mr. Saeed will continue to support and promote the strategic direction of Procurement & Contracts to align and realize the University’s business goals, and to better support end users’ requirements to achieve objectives.
Mr. Saeed and his team work hard to promote procurement excellence and develop various techniques to automate processes related to Procurement & Contracts at KU.
