Mosallam Suhail Alkatheeri is a Master’s degree holder with over 20 years of experience in strategic human resources, corporate governance, and procurement at a senior management level. He is a proven leader with focus on HR transformation, nationalization, manpower development, and procurement.
He has served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Khalifa University since 2014. He was also Vice President of Procurement and Contracts from 2018 to 2021.
In his current role, Mr. Alkatheeri is responsible for developing and leveraging human capital capabilities across KU, attracting top talent, and fostering engagement and satisfaction for staff and faculty in the University community. He plans the intake, sponsorship, and development of Emiratis to achieve KU’s Emiratization goals. He also monitors KU’s human capital performance and oversees the development and implementation of human capital policies, procedures, and practices to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness, while complying with local regulations and adopting international best practices.
He effectively collaborates with a variety of stakeholders in the development and advancement of human capital initiatives including the executive leadership, board members, government entities, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
Mr. Alkatheeri was a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Football Association between 2016 and 2020, and of the Baniyas Sports & Cultural Club between 2012 and 2016. He also served as a board member in four companies in different lines of businesses.
