Research Highlights

Marine Robot

Khalifa University in collaboration with Stanford University, inaugurated the Khalifa University Marine Studies and Research Lab. This facility stands as the region's premier advanced robotics research center, complete with cutting-edge wave and stream generation facilities, to explore the use of marine robotics for sustainable ocean ecosystems, including removal of plastics to curb pollution.

CubeSat

Established in collaboration with (Yahsat), UAE Space Agency, and Northrop Grumman, YSL is the UAE's premier space systems lab with Assembly-Integration-Verification (AIV) facilities. This program has successfully launched 4 CubeSats, including MySat-1 and DhabiSat, and collaborated with others on Light-1 and NovSat.
