Brief Description  Hard Services Specialist isresponsible for coordinating all the required up keeping of the buildingsfacilities, includes the required maintenance as well as health and safetyrequirements.
Detailed Description • Follow-up on day to day maintenanceactivities based on helpdesk requests.• Coordinate the maintenance of buildings,inspect premises to identify maintenance issues and report them.• Monitor the work done by externalcontractors to ensure adherence to the University standards and Health andSafety requirements.• Prepare PPM (planned preventive maintenance)schedules includes the review of the PPM performance.• Oversee maintenance contracts formechanical systems to ensure that the maintenance work is carried out inaccordance to the SLAs and KPIs.•Communicate and ensure a collaborativeenvironment of high performance teamwork with Maintenance team, Facilitiesstaff, Environment Health and Safety staff, consultants, and contractors.•Coordinate with internal Supply Managementto develop project sourcing strategy and research market for qualifiedsuppliers of materials and services.• Prepare purchase requisitions formanagement approval.• Review monthly reports of service providersand utilities accounts and take appropriate actions;• Ensure to keep detailed records regardingmaintenance activities.• Adhere to the University’s informationsecurity and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches orother security risks accordingly• Coordinate with other departments tofacilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed• Assist with handling of contractadministration including responding to requests for variations and claims.• Performany other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Job Requirement A Bachelor’sDegree in related field.UAE Nationals:A minimum of2 years of relevant experienceExpats:A minimum 5years of relevant experience.
