SUMMARY:Gitex
DESCRIPTION:The undisputed tech event for the last 40 years AI\, 5G\, Cloud\, BigData\, Cybersecurity\, Blockchain\, Quantum Computing\, immersive Marketing\, Fintech and though-provoking conferences\, it’s all at GITEX Global. \nKhalifa University the DhabiSat project atthe Abu Dhabi Digital Authority booth. DhabiSat is the second CubeSat designed and built by Khalifa University students\, in collaboration with Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) and Northrop Grumman. DhabiSat was launched into orbit in July 2021. \nThe mission of DhabiSat is to assess the accuracy of various attitude determination and control subsystems (ADCS) designed by KU students. DhabiSat will validate these systems by taking images using a digital camera onboard pointed in specific directions. The new ADCS algorithms shall improve the pointing accuracy of the CubeSat and its response time to attitude changes as compared to conventional algorithms. In terms of system resources\, DhabiSat will require less power to achieve the targeted pointings and if successful\, the algorithms will gain flight heritage on board DhabiSat\, which then can be used as a baseline for future CubeSat missions. \n
