DESCRIPTION:In this seminar\, Professor Kraenkel will present an informal introduction to the main points related to the modelling of the epidemic of SARS-CoV-2 in a real world context. He will discuss data analysis and a diversity of models of different complexities\, and explain which kind of model in useful in a given situation. Specific examples come from Brazilian data\, but the message is not restricted to a regional setting. \n
