SUMMARY:3rd Biotechnology Symposium
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend the 3rd Biotechnology Symposium from 16 – 17 December 2019 at the KU Main Campus. \nThe Biotechnology Symposium will be held under the theme of “Clinical applications of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).” It will give faculty\, researchers and students from KU’s Center for Biotechnology (BTC) an opportunity to showcase and highlight the research being carried out by the Center in the area of genetics\, specifically regarding how to use genome data for clinical applications and for developing personalized medicine programs that are “Predictive\, Preventive\, Personalized and Participatory.” \nInternational speakers who work on using genome data for diagnostic and predictive applications will present their work at the Symposium along with members of the research team at the BTC. \n
