This course comprehensively covers OSHA’s PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) standard and includes process safety risk analysis and management for the ONG industry. Topics include process safety fundamentals, risk quantification, inherent plant/process safety design, process safety culture, human performance, process hazard analysis (PHA), failure mode and effect analysis (FMECA), fault tree analysis (FTA), event tree analysis (ETA), hazard and operability analysis (HAZOP), layers of protection analysis (LOPA), Bowtie, SIL, accident causation and emergency response. Relevant ADNOC COPs and industry best practices will also be referenced throughout the course.
