Biography

Silvia Vaccino-Salvadore is a senior lecturer in the English Department at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

She received her doctorate with distinction in composition and applied linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA, in 2020. 

Her interests include language teacher identities, personal narratives, second language writing, translanguaging, and academic integrity. Her work has been published in the Journal of Language, Identity & Education and the International Journal for Educational Integrity. She is currently a member of the executive committee for the Center for Academic Integrity in the UAE.
