Dr. Hwee Lim is an Associate Professor at Khalifa University (Abu Dhabi, UAE). She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the National University of Singapore (Singapore), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from Murdoch University, Australia. Dr. Lim’s research interests include educational technology, computer-mediated communication, electronic discourse analysis, engineering education and human capital development. She has published over 60 works including books, book chapters, journal papers and conference proceedings. She received an award for Best Research Paper at the 2007 Computer Science and Information Technology Education Conference. Dr. Lim is an editorial review board member for the Journal of Information Technology Education: Research, and Journal of Information Technology Education: Innovations in Practice. She was a reviewer for annual international conferences and had given invited talks on engineering education in Doha (Qatar) and Abu Dhabi (UAE).
