Lecturer, Pre-Medicine Bridge Program

Dr. Wei Chen is a lecturer of Psychology in the Pre-Medicine Bridge Program, College of Arts and Sciences, Khalifa University. She received her PhD from theĀ  Chinese Academy of Sciences. She did her postdoctoral research at the Center for Cognition and Brain Disorders, Hangzhou Normal University, China, and New York University Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Wei Chen is interested in researching quantitative characterizations of expert object recognition. Her recent projects investigated the nature of face perception, specifically how holistic processing of faces is dynamic and may be influenced by socio-cognitive factors.
