Professor, Department of Mathematics

Dr. Mokhtar Kirane received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Paris 6, France, in 1983; a Doctorat es Sciences Mathématiques from Badji Mokhtar University, Annaba, Algeria, in 1990, and a Habilitation to conduct research from University of Picardie, France, in 2010. He spent one year, 1987-1988, as a post-doc at the Institute Aldo Moro of the CNR, Roma, and two years, 1992-1994, as a research fellow at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy. He became an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at Badji Mokhtar University from 1988-1992. From 1994 to 2001, he worked at the University Picardie as an associate professor. In 2001, he joined La Rochelle University, France, as a Professor.
