Professor Dean Everett is a UK trained microbiologist and joined Khalifa University after having spent 23 years living and working in Africa (Tanzania and Malawi) for the Royal Free Hospital (London) - TB research; the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine - STI's and HIV research; The University of Liverpool and the University of Edinburgh - both in the areas of Respiratory infection, AMR and genomics research.
He has a keen interest in Respiratory Infection, but also across Infectious Diseases in general, AMR, Genomics, Epidemiology, Global Health and clinical trials.
