Dr. Abdulhadi Shoufan is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Khalifa University. He received his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Computer Engineering from the Technische Universitaet Darmstadt in 2007. He led the Hardware Security Group in the Center for Advanced Security Research, Darmstadt. He has been with Khalifa University since 2011. His research interest includes hardware security, embedded security, UAV safe and secure operation, as well as engineering education. He is leading a project on drone operation in the Center for Cyber-Physical Systems. Dr. Shoufan's classroom is lecture-free. His students use Moodle for a fully interactive learning.
