Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering

Dr. Banu Yildiz is an expert in waste management with experience in sustainable water/wastewater treatment systems, low cost adsorbents, landfill management, dewatering of sludge, and zero waste technology. She is a recipient of the innovative R&D National Institution Award at Mohammed Bin Rashid, Al Maktoum Global Water Award, guest speaker at seminars and lectures and mentor of several undergraduate/graduate research competitions.
