Nicholas Dimmit was a faculty member at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand for 16 years before joining Khalifa University in 2011. He has been selected to join a UAE/Stanford Innovation & Entrepreneurship National Curriculum Project and has attended a number of I&E Professional Development sessions at Stanford since.

Dr. Dimmitt has taught a wide range of courses at Khalifa University at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. These include Fundamentals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Leadership Communication with Design Thinking; Scientific and Technical Writing; English Communication I; Business Communications; Communication for Research and Teaching; and Public Speaking.
Dr. Dimmitt’s research interests and activities include pedagogical approaches for innovation and creativity; action research for educational change; ethnographic approaches to educational research; and project based learning to develop critical thinking skills.
