Prior to joining Khalifa university, Dr. Ibrahim Yildiz worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (USA). His research focus was mainly on nanomaterial synthesis and characterization for imaging applications. In addition, he has experience in organic synthesis and computational modeling. 

Dr. Yildiz has co-authored 31 research articles and multiple book chapters in the area of organic, physical and material chemistry.
